A beautiful antique porcelain footed bowl produced for P.H. Leonard, the New York-based importers and distributors of fine Austrian goods, dating to circa 1890–1908.
This exceptional example is artist-signed by Cecelia Becker and dated 1906 beneath the signature, adding significant artistic and collector value to the piece.
This elegant piece features finely hand-painted fruit decoration with vibrant berries and flowing foliage rendered in soft blended tones. The gently scalloped rim, flowing organic form, and rich gilt feet create a refined Art Nouveau aesthetic characteristic of high-quality Austrian porcelain from the turn of the century.
The bowl stands gracefully on four gilt feet and displays subtle color transitions in pastel shades of blush pink, pale blue, and soft green, enhancing its decorative elegance.
The underside bears the P.H. Leonard Vienna Austria mark, confirming authenticity and period.
