An exceptional pair of antique Helena Wolfsohn porcelain urns, originating from the famed Dresden decorating studios and dated circa 1886–1940. These impressive urns stand 31 cm (12 1/4”) tall and exhibit masterful hand-painted harbor scenes on both sides, framed with intricate gold laurel leaf motifs over deep cobalt blue ground.
The design is further elevated by elaborately modeled handles and pierced domed lids topped with a looped finial. The square bases are delicately gilt with a lacy circular pattern.
These urns are not only stunning decorative pieces but also rare collector’s items that embody the grandeur of late 19th to early 20th-century German porcelain artistry.
