Antique Art Nouveau Chocolate Cup & Saucer Set – Artist Signed Estelle Therese Andres – Giraud Limoges France – ca. 1920s – Hand Painted

This exquisite antique chocolate cup and saucer set dates to the 1920s–1940s and is a stunning example of Art Nouveau porcelain from Limoges, France. Both the cup and saucer feature a warm hand-painted glaze with golden-brown, yellow, and soft green hues in an organic floral motif.

The base of both pieces is stamped “Giraud Limoges France,” and the saucer is signed by artist Estelle Therese Andres in freehand script. The sculptural shape of the cup and petal-like pattern of the saucer reflect the influence of nature and fluid form typical of the Art Nouveau movement.
